Phil Hamilton CD release
Phil Hamilton’s conviction to the essence of Texas Country Music
inspired him to start a band and set his sights on the top. Unique,
but still planted in the foundation and core of Texas Country, Phil
Hamilton has broad appeal. Heavy guitar riffs lure the rockers and
the genuine ballads entice the soft at heart.
His story starts much the same as others, he was born and raised
in Burleson, Texas and began singing in church. After getting his
start at the Greenwood Saloon in Bluffdale, TX thanks to Alan
Parsons, his fan base started rapidly growing, the gigs started
coming in and now he had two top 15 singles on the Texas Music
Chart and Texas Regional Radio Charts with “Nothing to Lose”
and “Nine Mile.” His third single “You Can Have Me” from his soon
to be released sophomore project is in the top 20′s and climbing..
Hamilton was also nominated as 2011′s Texas Regional Radio &
Music Association Top New Male Vocalist of the Year.
Phil’s debut CD Nothing to Lose was released in April 2010 on
Winding Road Music and features songs written by Phil Hamilton
and band members Collin Maloney and Andy Emery.
Drawing from his own real life experiences, Phil Hamilton pens
songs with authentic lyrics. His talent and commitment as a song
writer and performer allows him to turn out a steady thread of
dynamic songs. These songs keep the Phil Hamilton fans
captivated.
The live show is nothing less than amazing and leaves fans
wanting more. In a very short time Phil Hamilton is getting noticed
by the media (April 5, 2010 appearance on Good Day Dallas),
superstar artists in the Texas scene and most importantly, the fans.
Phil was selected as the top 3 new Texas Country bands in DFW
as voted by 95.9 The Ranch listeners in 2009. He’s opened for
major Texas/Red Dirt Artists like the Casey Donahew Band and
the Josh Abbott Band.
The sky is the limit for this artist and he is climbing to the top
quickly to become the face of the Texas Red Dirt Music Movement.
